Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has complimented his ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ co-star Channing Tatum, describing the hunky actor as a “very sexy guy”.

The burly action star has admitted he too finds his ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ co-star – who was voted People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive last year – attractive, but is adamant his man crush is strictly platonic.

In an interview with E! News, he said: “He is, according to some, and one People magazine, the sexiest man alive. And the truth is, and I can say this because I’m very comfortable in my own manhood and sexuality, he is a very sexy guy. He’s a good-looking guy.

“I love Channing. We have a great rapport and I love him. He’s like a brother to me and he’s great.”

And it seems Channing, 32, is an admirer of the wrestler-turned-actor, too, as Dwayne claims his co-star gazed into his eyes while filming the action blockbuster.

Dwayne complimented the ‘Magic Mike’ star’s “nice eyes” and joked: “He got lost in my eyes.”

The 40-year-old tough guy previously praised “humble” Channing, who is expecting his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and indicated the couple intend to welcome their baby into the world in London, where Channing is currently filming a new movie.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Dwayne – who is the current WWE Champion – said: “He’s a good looking guy. Love Channing. Great, great guy. Very humble. Very cool. I’m very happy for all his success.

“It’s a big year for him; he’s going to be a daddy. His wife is giving birth in London, that’s what I hear – so cool.”
